Bohemian Beer Casserole

  • 3 Cups Cubed, cooked Pork
  • 12 ounces Flat Beer
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Celery
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Pumpernickel bread crumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • Fresh Ground black pepper
  • Saute onion and celery in butter for 5 minutes. Add cubed pork, beer, and remaining ingredients. Place in casserole. Cover and bake in a moderate oven (375) for 40 minutes. Serves 6.
