Chinese Pepper Steak

  • 1 pound Steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1/3 cup Celery, chopped
  • 1 Green pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Water
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce, dark
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup Cold water
  • 1 package Chinese noodles
  • Fry steak in oil.

    Remove from pan.

    Stirfry onion, celery, & green pepper for 4".

    Mix sugar, water, soy sauce & salt.

    Add to pan.

    Add meat & cook 20" longer.

    Mix cornstarch & cold water.

    Add & cook over medium heat.

    until sauce thickens.

    Serve over Chinese noodles.
