Beef and Broccoli

  • 1/2 pound Sirloin steak, sliced thin
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce, dark
  • 2 teaspoon Ginger, fresh, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut oil
  • 1 pound Broccoli florets
  • 1 Onion, chunked
  • 1 Carrot, sliced into 1/8" strips
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce, dark
  • 1 cup Water, cold
  • 1 package Chinese noodles
  • Combine sirloin, cornstarch, soy sauce,fresh ginger, sugar & garlic & marinatefor 15 minutes.

    Fry meat in oil for 4”.

    Remove meat.

    Stir fry broccoli for 4" Add onion, carrot & peanut oil to broccoli & fry for 5”.

    Mix cornstarch, soy sauce & water together.

    Add to meat.

    Bring to a boil until sauce thickens.
