Savory Party Bread

  • 1 unsliced round Bread
  • 1 pound Cheese, Monteray Jack
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 1/2 cup Green onion, minced
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Poppy seed

    • Slice ALMOST all the way into loaf crosswise and lengthwise in a check pattern.Slice cheese and insert between cuts. Combine melted butter, onions and poppy seeds. Drizzle over bread. Wrap in foil. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350º uncovered for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Serve right away. serves 6-8.
