Chili Rice Casserole

  • 1 pound Hamburger
  • 1 medium Onions, chopped
  • 1/2 medium Green pepper, diced
  • 1 (1lb) can Tomatos, stewed
  • 1 (16oz) can Kidney beans-drained
  • 1 cups Minute rice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 cup Cheese, Mild cheddar- shredded
  • Brown ground beef in pan. Add chopped onion, green pepper and garlic. Cook until vegetables are slightly tender - Drain. Add remaining ingredients - except cheese. Cover and cook at 350° for 40 minutes or until rice is tender. Sprinkle with cheese and return to oven until cheeseis melted.
