Cream Puff Dessert

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Margarine
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 4 Eggs
  • 6 ounces Vanilla instant pudding
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 8 ounces Cream cheese
  • 8 ounces Whipped topping
  • ~ Chocolate Syrup

    • Combine the water and margarine in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil and add the flour all at once, mixing vigorously until the mixture forms a ball. Remove from the heat. Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating vigorously after each addition until completely blended. Spread over thebottom of a lightly greased 9 x 13 inchbaking pan. Bake at 400º for 30 minutes. Let stand until completely cooled.

    Prepare the pudding mix with the milk in a large mixing bowl according to the package directions. Add the cream cheese and beat until blended. Spread the mixture over the baked crust. Spread the whipped topping over the pudding layer and drizzle chocolate syrup over the top. Chill until serving time.
