Baking Powder Biscuits

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 cup Shortening
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening wtih fork until coarse. Add milk and blend lightly untilflour is moistened. Put onto lightly floured board and knead 30 sec. Roll 3/4 inch thick. Cut. Bake 475º for 12-15 minutes.
