Winter Jamdee
In a 6 to 8 quart saucepan, combined cranberries, apples and water. Cook until slightly thickened. Approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat and put mixture through a food mill or sieve to remove peels, skins and seeds. Return mixture to the pan and stir in remaining ingredients. Over high heat bring to a boil, stir constantly. Continue boiling, stirring constantly, until thick and clear. Approximately 4-6 minutes. Immediately fill hotpint size sterlized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Process in boiling Water Canner for 5 minutes. Remove from Cannerand place on clean towel to cool.
