Pumpkin Pie

  • 2 Pie shells, 9"
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar, granulated
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons Pumpkin pie spice
  • 4 Eggs, Extra large
  • 29 ounces Pumpkin puree
  • 2 12 ounce cans Sweetened condensed milk
  • This recipe makes 2 pies!

    Pre-heat oven to 425°. Combine sugar salt and spices in mixing bowl. Beat eggs llightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin puree, and sigar-spice mixture. Combine condensed milk and water. Gradually stir condensed milk and water into pumpkin mixture. Pour into pie shells. Bake in pre-heated oven for 15 minutes then reduce temp to 350°(325°if glass) for 40-50 minutes or until tester comes out clean. Cool on rackfor 2 hours. Do not freeze this becausethe filling will separate from the shell.
