Beef, Party, Pork Mutton Veal

Pigs In a (Cabbage) Blanket

  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 pound Sausage
  • 1 pound Hamburger
  • 1 1/2 cups Rice, cooked
  • 1/2 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1/4 cup Green pepper, diced
  • 2 teaspoons Sage
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 head Cabbage
  • 1 large can Tomato sauce
  • Peel leaves - soften in boiling water.

    Mix all ingredients together and wrap mixture in leaf. Place in pan and cover with tomato sauce.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour
