French Apple Coffee Cake

  • 1 1/4 cups Sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups Brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup Sour cream (or sour milk)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 3 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 can French apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Butter - melted
  • Mix togerther sugar, Brown sugar, sour cream, eggs, flour and baking soda, 2 tsp Cinnamon and salt. Fold in French apple pie filling and spread into greased 9x13-inch pan.

    Making topping with the following and sprinkle over batter. Remaining 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup brown sugar,1 1 tsp cinnamon and the chopped walnuts.

    Bake at 350° - 40-50 minutes. When cake is done pour the melted butter over hot cake **This cake is to die for!
