Pies

Pecan Pie

  • 3 Eggs
  • 2/3 cups Sugar, granulated
  • 1/3 cups Butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cups Corn syrup, light or dark
  • 1 cups Pecan halves
  • 1 Pie shells, 9"
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

Beat eggs, sugar, salt, butter, and syrup with mixer on low speed. Stir in nuts. Pour all in pie shell. Bake 40-50 minutes at 375°.( note: It may need to cook longer-- bake utill the center doesn't jiggle. It is not abad idea to cover the pie with aluminumfoil to keep the crust from burning, itwill brown nicely even with he foil, ifnot, remove the foil for the last 5-10 miinutes.

cool and enjoy with wipped cream. I like to eat it when just is warm.
