Cream Cheese Frosting For Hummingbird Cake

  • 16 ounces Cheese, Cream, softened
  • 1 cups Butter or margarine
  • 2 Boxes ( 16 oz.) Confectioner's sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • Dashes Salt
  • In a large bowl beat cream cheese and butter untill smooth. Add powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffly.

    Stir in vanilla and salt. Generously spread frosting betwen cooled cake layers and on sides and top of cake. Garnish with remaining 1 cup of pecans. Makes about 8 servings.
