Almond Candy

  • 1 1/2 cups Blanched almonds, ground
  • 3/4 cup Fine sugar
  • 1/2 t tablespoons Vanilla
  • 1/2 tablespoons Grated lemon rind
  • 2 tablespoons Brandy or rum
  • 2 egg whites Stiffly beaten
  • Belend almonds, sugar, vanilla, lemon rind and brandy. Fold in beatenegg whites. Form inta about 2 dozen small balls, put on a butterd baking sheet and bake in350° oven for about 5 minutes.
