Inside-out Ravioli

  • 1 pound Hamburger meat
  • 1 Garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup Onions, chopped
  • 1 pound can Tomato sauce, w/mushrooms
  • 18 ounces Tomato sauce
  • 16 ounces Tomato paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 7 ounces Elbow Macaroni, cooked
  • 10 ounces Spinach, chopped frozen
  • 1 cup Cheese, shredded mild cheddar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bread crumbs
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup Salad oil
  • Brown first 3 ingredients in a skillet,drain. Cook spinach, drain & save liquid. Add liquid and next five ingredients to meat mixture, simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach, macaroni, cheese, bread crumbs, eggs and oil. Spread into a 9" x 13" pan. Spread meat mixture on top next. Bake for 30 minutes in a 350° oven.

    "Cheese Puffs" (under appetizer) makes a great side dish to this meal.
