English Style Fish And Chips
Fish: Soak fish fillets in milk for onehour. Strain off milk and moisture fromfillets.
Dip in a mixture of four eggsto one cup milk, then dip in milk only.
Deep fry in hot oil.
Chips; Slice potatoes very thinly, American style. Soak in salt water for half an hour; drain and pat dry.
Cook at 150 degrees for 1 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.Cook at 350 degrees till golden brown. ( I know this sounds wei .........rd, but it gives a distinctive texture to the potatoes.)
