Janes' Dip

  • 4- 10 oz cans Hunts' whole tomatoes
  • 1 large Onions, chopped
  • 12 (+ or -) Jalapeno peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoons Salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons Pepper
  • 1 tablespoons Cilantro, minced
  • For a medium-hot dip, remove the seeds and septum from the jalapenos before chopping. If you are a true chili-head and enjoy the pain, leave them whole.

    Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. "Squish" by hand, mashing the tomatoes throughly.

    Cover and chill for at least two hours, best overnight.

    Serve with tostados or other firm chip
