Chocolate Sour Cream Pound Cake
Preheat oven to 325. Grease/flour a 9X5X3 inch loaf pan. Cream butter and sugarwith electric mixer in large bowl untilfluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beatingwell after each addition. Blend in vanilla. Sift flour, soda and salt together;add to creamed mixture slternately withsour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix well after each addition. Blend in melted chocolate> Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 20minutesl Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn out and cool completely. Cut horizontallyinto 3 even layers. Spread filling between layers. Sift conf. sugar over top. Serves 10-12 Vanilla Filling: Cream butter and cream cheese with electric mixer in mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar. Add vanilla and blend thoroughly.
