Shirley Gates' Pecan Pie

  • 1 cup Karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla and nuts. Pour into unbakedpie crust and bake slow for about 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

    This is my wife'sfavorite pecan pie recipe, says it is the easiest and the best. Given to her bya very good friend who passed away in 2001
