Banana Toast

  • 3 Very ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 6 slices Dry Toast
  • Mash bananas; mix them with salt, sugar, lemon juice, and butter. Spread the mixture on toast, and place it in a hot oven (425 deg F.) for about 5 minutes. Serve hot with cream, if desired. Yield: Serves 6
