Mamie Eisenhower Fudge

  • 4 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 13 ounce Evaporated milk
  • 12 ounces Chocolate, semi-sweet
  • 12 ounces Chocolate, German sweet
  • 1 pint Marshmellow cream
  • 2 cups Walnuts, chopped
  • Combine sugar, butter, salt and milk inlarge saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Combine chocolates, marshmallow cream and nuts in mixing bowl. Pour milk mixture over chocolate and beat until chocolate is melted.

    This has been a family favorite for generations!
