Divinity

  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1/2 Cups Water
  • 3 Cups Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White Corn Syrup
  • Few Drops Flavoring, vanilla or almond
  • Cook sugar, water & corn syrup togetherover medium heat, stirring constantly untill you can spin a thread. Add flavoring (vanilla or almond) and beat slowly adding in egg whites slowly.

    Drop by spoonful on to waxed paper.

    Decorate with pecan half or red and green candied cherryhalves.

    Store in airtight container.
