Grandma's Baking Seasoning

  • 2 cups Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Meyers dark rum
  • 1 cup Brandy
  • 2 tablespoons Almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon Nutmeg, freshly grated
  • 2 teaspoons Ground cardamom
  • 1 Navel orange
  • 1 large Lemon
  • Grate the rinds of the lemon and the orange and juice them both. Add the gratedrinds, juice and all other ingredients into a closed bottle. This can be used right away, but gets better with time. If1 tablespoon of vanilla is called for in a recipe, use 2 tablespoons of this mixture.
