Brandied Apricots

  • 2 1 pound cans Whole apricots
  • 3/4 cup Brandy
  • 2 Cinnamon sticks, broken
  • 6 Whole cloves
  • Drain apricots, reserving 2 cups syrup.In medium saucepan combine syrup with brandy and spices. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.

    Pour hot syrup over drained apricotsin bowl. Cover and chill for 3 to 4 hours or until serving time, or pack into jars immediately.
