Beef Satay

  • 1 1/2 pounds Beef steak
  • 1 Green onion, minced
  • 1/3 cup Catsup
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce, light
  • 3 tablespoons Brown sugar, dark
  • 3 tablespoons Lime juice, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon Peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, fresh, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup Peanut butter, creamy
  • Use tenderloin, sirloin or top round for the steak.

    Combine all the ingredients except the meat and the peanut butter.

    Cut meat into 3/4 inch cubes.

    Marinate meat for 1-2 hours.

    Remove and reserve the marinade.

    Thread meat onto skewers. Grill over high heat for 3-5 minutes turning as needed.

    Bring reserved marinade to a boil and add the peanut butter.

    Serve this sauce with the kabobs.
