Herb Seasoning (no Salt)

  • 1/2 teaspoons Cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoons Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons Dried basil
  • 1 teaspoons Dried marjoram, crushed
  • 1 teaspoons Dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoons Dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoons Dried savory
  • 1 teaspoons Mace
  • 1 teaspoons Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoons Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoons Powdered sage
  • Place all ingredients in a medium bowl. Toss gently with spoon until well blended. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place for up to 6 months.

    This mix is perfect for keeping on hand at the table as an all-purpose replacement for the salt shaker. It's good on casseroles, stews, fresh vegetables and meats.

    Makes approximately 1/.2 cup.
