Apple Pie With Pecans

  • 1 cup Pecans
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Sugar, Brown
  • 6 cups Apples
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Flour
  • In bottom of Glass Pie Pan combine: 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Then add a layer ( 1 cup pecans) on top.

    Spread first crust over this (I use ready made crust).

    Filling: mix and putinto first crust.

    6 cups apples

    1/2 tspcinnamon

    1/2 tsp nutmeg

    1/2 cup sugar

    2 Tbsp flour

    Spread on second crust, trim edges. Puncture for air vents.

    Bake 350º for 40-50 minutes. Flip onto serving plate. **careful VERY HOT syrup**
