Cinnamon Brownies

  • 3/4 cup Cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 2/3 cup Butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup Boiling water
  • 2 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • FROSTING :
  • 6 tablespoons Butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 2 2/3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Evaporated milk
  • Combine cocoa and soda, blend in 1/3 cup of melted butter. Add boiling water, stir until thickened. Stir in sugar, eggs, vanilla and remaining butter. Add dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into greased 9X13 pan bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool. For frosting cream butter and sugar. Add cocoa and cinnamon alternately with milk until spreading consistancy, add vanilla and frost brownies.
