Family Dinner Pecan Pie

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1/2 cup Pecans, ground (not chopped)
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 Pre-baked pie shell

    • Mix sugar and flour together. Mix milk and egg yolks together. Then stir all ingredients, except vanilla, together and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Stir in vanilla. Pour into pie shell.Top with meringue and pecan halves if desired. Bake until meringue is done.
