Choke Cherry Jelly

  • 3 1/2 cups Choke cherry juice
  • 7 cups Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 packages Liquid Certo
  • To make juice, Cook choke cherries, barely covered with water, about 30 minutes.

    Strain juice through cheese cloth. Combine juice, sugar and butter and bring to a rolling boil, add Certo, return to aboil, boil 1 minute. Pack in sterile jars and seal.
