Seasoned Crumb Mix For Chicken Or Pork

  • 2 1/2 cups Cereal flakes,crushed fine
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoons Rosemary or Sage
  • 1/2 teaspoons Thyme or Marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoons Lemon rind
  • Rosemary and thyme are especially compatible with chicken; sage and marjoram with pork.

    Place all the ingredients in a1-pint jar, cover tightly, and shake well to mix. Use as a crumb coating for chicken or pork chops. The mix will keepin the refrigerator for up to 2 months. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
