Bacon Potato Pancakes

  • 5 or 6 Potatoes, uncooked, peeled, shredded
  • 5 strips Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Onion, Chopped
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • ~ Dash of nutmeg
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
  • ~ Oil for frying
  • Rinse and throughly drain potatoes. In a bowl combine all ingredients. In an electric skillet, heat 1/8 inch of oil to 375. Drop batter by 2 heaping tablespoons into hot oil. Fry on both sides untilgolden brown.
