Chocolate Layered Dessert

  • CRUST :
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup Walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1st LAYER :
  • 1 package (8 oz) Cream cheese, room temp.
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip, thawed
  • 2nd LAYER :
  • 2 small package Instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 1/2 cups Cold milk
  • 3rd LAYER :
  • 3 cup Cool Whip, thawed
  • ~ Nuts, chopped
  • ~ Chocolate shavings

    • Combine crust ingredients until well mixed. Press into a greased 9X13 pan. Bakeat 350 for 15 minutes. Cool. Combine ingredients for 1st layer until well blended, spread over cooled crust. Combine ingredients for 2nd layer and spread over top of cream cheese layer. Spread Cool Whip over pudding. Sprinkle with nuts andchocolate. Refrigerate several hours.
