Apple Quicky Sticky Buns

  • 3 1/4 cups Flour
  • 2 packages Dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Warm water
  • 1 cup Butter or margarine, divided
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 cup Apples, chopped, peeled
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup Nuts, chopped, if desired
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 Egg
  • In large bowl mix yeast and 1 1/2 cups of the flour. In saucepan heat milk, water, sugar, salt and 1/4 cup of the butter, until warm and butter is melted. Pourliquid over yeast and flour. Beat untilwell mixed. Add the egg and beat on high for 3 minutes. Stir in 1 3/4 cups of flour and apples by hand. Cover and let rise for 30 min. Meanwhile, in saucepan combine 3/4 cup of butter, brown sugar, syrup, 1 tbl of water and nuts. Heat until melted. Pour sauce into greased 9X13 pan. Drop dough by tablespoonfulls onto topping. Bake 375 fo 20 minutes. Cool 1 minute, place cookie sheet on top and invert.
