German Apple Pie
Combine sugar, flour and cinnamon; sprinkle 3 Tbl. into crust. Top with half the apples, Sprinkle with half the remaining mixture. Top with remaining apples and mixture. Pour cream over all. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 350; bake for 55-60 minutes, or until apples are tender.
