Applesauce Drop Doughnuts
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, beating after each one. Beat in applesauce and vanilla, add baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt. Add milk and flour alternately. Batter will be thick. Heat oil to 375. Drop by teaspoonfulls into hot oil,fry until golden brown, turning to cookon all sides. Drain on paper towels. Roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture while still warm.
