Banana Split Muffins

  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cups Walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons Salt
  • 3 medium Bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cups Mayonnaise, not reduced fat
  • 12 Maraschino cherries
  • In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, chocolate chips, walnuts, soda, and salt. In another bowl combine bananas and mayo. Stir into the dry ingredients, just until moistened. Fill greased of paper-lined muffin cups 3/4's full. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Press a cherry on to the top of each muffin.
