Cakes and Frostings

Banana Cake

  • 1 1/2 cups Brown sugar
  • 3 large Bananas, mashed
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 cups Sour whipping cream
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Baking soda
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cups Nuts, chopped, if desired
  • Sour whipping cream with 1 tbl vinegar,and set aside. Cream bananas, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir baking soda into sour cream. Pour flour over banana mixture, pour sour cream over flour, pour beaten eggs over sour cream. Beat until well mixed. Stir in nuts if desired. Pour into greased 9X13 pan, bake 350 for 30-35min.

    Frost with favorite frosting.
