Coconut Pecan Frosting

  • 1 cups Evaporated milk
  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 3 Egg yolks
  • 1/2 cups Margarine
  • 1 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1 1/3 cups Coconut
  • 1 cups Pecans, chopped
  • Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine, and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened, about 12 minutes. Remove from heat and mix in coconut and pecans, stir briskly, or beat with mixer, until thick enough to spread.
