Easy Enchilada Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • 1/4 cup Chili powder
  • 2 cups Chicken stock
  • 10 ounces Tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano, dried
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • Heat oil and add flour. Stir until smooth and cook for at least 1 minute.

    Addchili powder and cook for another 30 seconds.

    Add remaining ingredients and stir well to combine.

    Boil and thenrreduce heat to simmer and cook for 15 minutes.

    This sauce will thicken and smooth.
