Kentucky Yeast Rolls

  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 scant cup Lard
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 cup Cold water
  • 1 cups Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 packages Yeast
  • 1/2 cup Warm water
  • 7 cups Flour
  • Mix together boiling water, lard and salt. Mix together cold water, sugar, andeggs. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Mix lard mixture, egg mixture and yeast together. Stir in 7 cups of flour more or less. Let rise in fridge overnight. Make into rolls and let rise 4 hours. Bake at 400º
