Banana Nut Loaf
Cream sugar, oleo and eggs. Mix well, add vanilla and extract, add baking sodaand flour, add alternately with buttermilk. Add bananas and nuts.
Bake in 2 greased and floured 8" loaf pans at 300° for 1 1/2 hours or toothpick comes out clean.
I substitute vanilla for the butter extract so that makes 4 tsp. vanilla.
To make buttermilk, use milk and add vinegar.
