Chocolate Sauce

  • 5 ounces Evaporated milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 ounces Chocolate, unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla flavoring
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • Heat milk and sugar to rolling boil. Stir constantly.

    Boil for 1 minute.

    Reduce heat and add chocolate. Stir until melted.

    Remove from heat and add butter, salt and vanilla.
