Chocolate Frosting

  • 4 tablespoons Margarine
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 6 tablespoons Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 3 1/2 cups Confectioners' sugar
  • Place margarine in mixer bowl and attach beaters. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, milk, cocoa and salt and beat about 2 minutes longer. Reduce mixer speed to low. Add about 1 cup sugar and mix until combined.Increase speed to medium and beat untilsmooth. Continue adding sugar in the same manner until frosting reaches properconsistency.

    Yields 2 cups.
