Country-Style Green Beans

  • 8 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 1 large Onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 3 16oz cans Green beans
  • Cook bacon and onion in a large skilletover medium heat until bacon is crisp, stirring often. Remove bacon and onion with a slotted spoon, reserving 1/4 cup drippings in skillet.

    Combine vinegar and suger, and pour into reserved drippings; bring to boil. Add drained green beans to skillet, return bacon and onions toskillet, cook over medium heat until throughly heated, stirring occasionally, careful not to break beans. Spoon into serving dish.
