Merry's Awesome Chocolate Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 squares Chocolate, unsweetened
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Milk, evaporated
  • Pinch Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Melt butter and chocolate squares in suacepan. Stir over low heat until smooth. Add cocoa, sugar, milk, salt and vanilla. Bring to boil, stirring constantly and take off heat.

    Serve hot or cold. Makes 1 1/2 cups.

    Keeps in fridge for about 2 weeks. makes good gift.
