String Beans with Rosemary & Basil

  • 1 pounds Green beans, cut
  • 3 tablespoons Butter, unsalted
  • 1/2 small Onions, chopped
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary, fresh
  • 10 leaves Basil, fresh, chopped
  • Bring generous amount of lightly saltedwater to boil in large saucepan. Plungbeans into water and cook for 3 min. Drain and shake dry.

    In large skillet, heat butter over medium high heat. Saute onion until soft. Add garlic. Add rosemary and basil, stir together 1 min. more. Add beans and cook 2-3 min., untilthey are just tender and coated with onion/butter mixture.
