Spicy Blackeyed Peas

  • ~ Oil
  • 2 cans Black-eyed peas
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1 can Tomatos
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar
  • ~ Salt and pepper to taste
  • ~ Tabasco
  • ~ Garlic, chopped
  • Saute onion, garlic, & spices in oil. Add peas & cut tomatoes. Simmer 20 min., breaking up tomatoes. Add Tabasco, vinegar, salt, pepper. Turn off heat and stir. Serve over rice.
