Chocolate Waffles

  • 6 tablespoons Cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups Sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 3 tablespoons Melted butter
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • Preheat electric waffle iron. Sift cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt into alarge mixing bowl and set aside. Placeeggs, milk and butter in blender gobletand blend on low speed until smooth. While motor is running, add sugar and vanilla. Stop blender and add dry ingredients. Blend at low speed only until flour is combined into batter. Pour 1/2 cupbatter onto preheated waffle iron and bake until crisp.
