Carolyn Thompson's Cheese Fondue

  • 2 cups Wine, white
  • 1 clove Garlic, chopped
  • 1 pound Cheese, Swiss
  • 8 ounces Cheese, gruyere
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • ~ Nutmeg
  • ~ Bread, french, cubed
  • In fondue pot simmer garlic in wine a few minutes. Grated both cheeses. Mix flour with cheese, add wine. Stir until smooth. Add nutmeg to taste. Serve withbread cubes (day old works well).
